Our friend Josh has been working really hard to get a skatepark funded and built in Boise and this weekend it opened.

It’s not just a skatepark. It’s a gigantic, awesome, fun playground for old and young skaters.

We decided to come last minute, last night actually. We drove to McCall last night and then Boise this morning where the kids grabbed their boards and join in on the fun.

Poor Jamie isn’t a fan of crowds so after a few minutes of standing, completely miserable and uncomfortable, I sat with him in the car.

But not before checking out some pretty good riders.

We happen to know exactly how much work and disappointment and effort and passion goes in to creating something like it.

Actually, not something like a skatepark, a skate park exactly. And anyone who is willing to put up with all that goes into it, definitely needs to be recognized.

Hip. Hip. HOORAY!!

Tell me somethin' good.....
