St. Paddy’s Day

I’m fairly certain that the cutest leprechauns dress in silver sparkle shoes and gold glitter tights.

Yes. Yes, they do.

I will admit that St. Patrick’s Day is the one holiday that I don’t really care that much about celebrating. Growing up, my mom and dad would do silly things around the house so that when we woke up, we’d discover that the leprechauns had visited. They would have turned the cushions upside down, made all of our picture frames hang sideways, turned our milk green, stuff like that. It was so much fun.

Now that I think about it, it’s also super creepy.

But anyway, the only thing I really do is turn the milk green and maybe buy some little necklaces or something for them to leave the kids. The kids dress in green, and if they’re lucky, we might make cookies or something.

I know, holiday fail. It’d be really fun if maybe I made footprints with green construction paper, hid gold coins around the house, stuff like that.

But we all know I’m no fun.

Happy St. Paddy’s Day!

Tell me somethin' good.....
