David Sedaris

I was lucky enough to get to go to a reading in Spokane on Wednesday — yup, David Sedaris. Oh, wow, he is beyond hilarious. He’s very smart and listening to him tell his stories is 100x funnier than reading them…and it doesn’t even have to be live. His audiobooks are the best. But my favorite of his is “Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk.” It is so gross and inappropriate and hilariously funny, I laugh out loud when I read it. Add just to add a little bit MORE to it, it’s illustrated by Ian Falconer who also does Olivia. As in, Olivia the pig.

MAC Nude Lipstick

I don’t really wear a ton of makeup. Just the basics to cover up my awful skin. (Seriously, right now it’s horrible. When a zit decides to set up camp on the tip of your nose, you know it’s bad.) But when I feel like I want to step it up a notch, I wear this.

neon oxford

My new recent obsession (I guess it’s not quite to the level of obsession, but I really love them) is oxford shoes. Nordstrom has some right now that I believe I am going to have to order. They’re too cute not to.

Of Monsters and Men – Little Talks

I have a new favorite song every month. Currently, this is my favorite song.

Kernel-less Caramel Corn

caramel corn

This is bomb stuff. I got a bag (well, actually 2, but I’m giving one away) and inhaled 1/2 of it while watching Dan skateboard and the other 1/2 hasn’t been consumed yet. Because I looked at the caloric count. Yikes. But let me tell you, it’s delicious.

It’s a short one this week. Happy Mid-November!
