We. Are. Exhausted. Like…10:00 and we’re falling asleep kind of exhausted. Why? This weekend was Caitlin’s (Dan’s sister’s) wedding! Last night was rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and today was the wedding.
The girls got their hair done at 10:00 and at 12:30, we were in the car, ready to go.
The wedding started at 2:00 and we were told to be there at 1:00.
The kids were freaking adorable.
Jamie, the most handsome ring bearer in the history of ring bearers.
This boy did so wonderfully, you wouldn’t believe it.
He walked up the aisle like a champ, sat in the front, and was SO concerned about getting the bride and groom their rings that periodically throughout the ceremony, he’d stand up and say (quite loudly), “Do you need the rings yet?”
The girls were beautiful.
Maria and Alice were both flower girls.
This was not Maria’s first rodeo. She’s been flower girl for Jordan and Fran, Erin and Juey, absent flower girl for Leann (she couldn’t go with us to SLC). So she’s a pro by now.
Alice learns very quickly.
The did EXACTLY what they were supposed to do and looked absolutely stunning.
Everyone looked wonderful.
The little touches were pretty cute.
By 3:15, the ceremony was over.
We headed up to the reception site, which was where Jess got married last weekend: Red Barn Farms.
Charlotte didn’t have an official job at the wedding, but I gave her one: Be the cutest baby in the universe.
There was lots to eat and drink, thanks to Prasils and Happy Day.
The flowers were beautiful.
And we had a great time…
And while these 2 were beautiful on the dance floor…
…they had nothing on Maria.
This girl has dance moves that would make MJ himself jealous. She was hysterical to watch.
But now we’re wiped out. We’re all in bed, and I’m hoping and praying that tomorrow the kids sleep in past 8.
Would that be heaven or what?
