Tokyo Sweets

This little gem of a sweet shop is in University Village in Seattle. They serve ice cream and fruit in crepes like an ice cream cone. Or, you could just have a butter crepe that is just as delicious.  I’m pretty sure I gained 13 pounds in the last 4 days.

My aunt and uncle had Maggiano’s cater my cousin’s graduation party this weekend and the food was SO delicious. The rigatoni with mushrooms and chicken was by far my favorite, but their little apple pie pockets were pretty bomb, too.

The Legos Idea Book

I ordered this after Nate gave us a 76 pound (probably not that heavy) bin full of lego pieces. Jamie has the best time looking through it, dreaming up things to make.

Harajuku Girls for Target

So these clothes aren’t particularly cute or adorable…but they are different and fun. The style is different and unique and my girls look adorable in them.

Stila Color Corrector Primer

This may come as a shock to all of you, but my skin isn’t perfect. I know, I know, how can the rest of me be SO perfect, but my skin isn’t?! haha, I’m hilarious. Anyway, I’m pretty red and splotchy, especially right now, but this combo of greens and pinks and yellows fixes all of that. I put it on before I put on the rest of my makeup and I fool all you suckers into thinking I’m 100% perfect.

Bringing up Bebe

Okay, so I thought I was a genius when I found this book on Amazon. Come to find out, my friend Tara had already read it. I don’t always find the awesome stuff first and I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t too happy that she hadn’t shared this find with me. I’m kinda obsessed with it right now. The author writes about the differences between French and American mothers. She lives in France and has been able to observe how the French raise their children and why the little bebes behave themselves, sleep through the night, and eat things besides macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets. She’s funny and smart, and I kinda wish I was raising my kids in Paris.

Alice in Wonderland.

Before this weekend, I was only aware of the ‘Pride and Prejudice,’ ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ and ‘Jane Eyre’ board books….until I found Alice in Wonderland at Peek Kids in Seattle. I just so happen to collect Alice in Wonderland books for my little Alice, so I snatched this book right up.
