Today was Charlotte’s first birthday party. And you all know I live for parties, especially those celebrating my favorite tiny people on Earth. Today, it was for Charlotte Clayton.
While I got things ready, she sat (not very happily) at her high chair.
She watched me make things.
I made blueberry biscuits.
I made tiny cinnamon rolls.
We made breakfast burritos…
Laid out fruit and donuts.
And, my personal favorite on the cuteness scale….a tiny little yogurt bar.
I also got a few Cori Dantini prints from the Dogwood Festival (she is one of my faves) and one was perfect for a little party decor.
And, thanks to Shop Sweet Lulu, I had adorable milk bottles with paper straws to serve the mimosas and oj. Adorably genius.
It looked cute.
Some of our friends and family came, bearing gifts (the best gifts ever I might add. Charlotte is so fashion. I’m going to just say that right now, with the wardrobe she owns, she is by far the most fashion child I have. There. I said it. But beyond the clothes, Charlotte also received a couple of the cutest books, an adorable puppet that Alice won’t stop puppeteering with a super-creepy voice, a fun ball, a swimsuit, a puppy toy, a gift card, and the sweetest lamb rocker. Phew, I’m winded.).
Then it was time for our tiny little kitten to blow out her tiny little candle. Oooooh I just love her.
Then Jamie and Megan and Noah and I had to book it. We had a hip hop performance to get to. Pat hopped in the car with us and we drove to the Dogwood Festival.
Oh, and who did we see?
My lovely friends came to watch Jamie perform. But not just these 3. Cenone and Andy came too. So did Papa and Lala. So did Patti. And a couple of Jamie and Noah’s friends came too. We are so beyond spoiled.
Then it was time for the boys to show their stuff.
They did so awesome!
Jamie and Noah are the cutest little hip hoppers in the universe.
And after that long day of playing and dancing and celebrating…
…Jamie needed an ice cream cone. Done.
