This is a really stupid app, but it’s fun, too. You get to comb, shampoo, dry, cut and style these weird little characters’ hair. When you’re waiting for soccer practice to get over, it’s a perfect time-killer.
So I mentioned yesterday how Cenone got me a bunch of fabric from online. The site is here. They have so many cute fabric bundles and kits and patterns. I’m a new fan.
These really gross-looking brainy fungi are so delicious. But part of why they’re so delicious is because it’s awesome to search and find them yourself. We are going to hunt for some on Sunday, and I just hope it’s been warm enough to help them grow!
Big Sexy Hair Root Boost
I love this stuff. First, it smells really good. Second, it gives my hair that boost it needs. Yes, I realize I sound like a commercial, but I’m serious. My hair rarely looks good but when it does, it’s because I’ve used this.
I love Clinique. I love it even more when you get a free gift with purchase. I bought some foundation (finally….I’ve been out for 2 months) and got this free gift. Moisturizer, more moisturizer, mascara, lip stick/lip gloss combo, and an eyeshadow set. Oh, and 2 bags. Score.
I had never heard of this brand before Hailey got me a really cute shirt for my birthday. I’m kind of in love with the shirt.
Passion Tea Lemonade
I love my non-fat white chocolate mocha, there’s no doubt about that. But sometimes you need an afternoon treat and in the summmer, even iced coffee doesn’t sound so great to me. Passion tea lemonade is my favorite summer drink. In a grande size.
I’m in the middle of this young adult book and I’m really enjoying it. It’s set in a dystopian future and is about this young girl, Gaia, who followed in her mother’s footsteps and is a midwife for her community. Each month, she must ‘advance’ 3 babies to the Enclave – the rich, better-off section of the city surrounded by a wall. Something is discovered within the Enclave and her services and records of births are needed by the officials. It’s pretty good.
Featured, again, because Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghey might be 2 of my favorite people on Earth.
I like hummus. But I’ve recently discovered that I like roasted chickpeas even more. We got a bag of chickpeas from Wagner Farms on Maria’s fieldtrip and I wanted to do something yummy with them. I boiled them for 5 or so minutes then let them soak for a little over an hour. I mixed a couple TBS of olive oil, paprika, cumin, and garlic salt with the chickpeas and roasted them at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or so. Ooooohhhhhh so delicious.
This last one doesn’t have a picture because I didn’t wanna take it straight off of her photography website, but click here.
I discovered her through Ashley English’s website, http://www.small-measure.blogspot.com. And I figure that if Ashley likes this girl, I probably will too. Because Ashley English rocks. And I was right, I love this girl’s style. She did a whole project on farms and it made me really excited to start our new adventure!
