Maria’s First Day of First Grade

She’s in real school now.

No 1/2 days sometimes, full days others. She’s a full-time student. 8:30 to 3:00 Monday through Friday.

Doesn’t she look old?

Equipped with a sweet backpack and a fox lunch bag, she was ready to go.

Maria and Mrs. Gossage

She gave me a run-down of the day and made sure I knew that she followed all the instructions I had given the kids in the car on the way to school. Ya know, stuff like listening to your teacher, raising your hand, etc. And I must have thrown a few in there for a certain 4 year old because Maria said, “And, mom, I also went potty where I was supposed to….in the TOILET.”

Yes. She IS a good girl.
