Because when there’s guac, you know it’s a party.
Oh, and we had guac.
Patrick is kinda known in this area for his guacamole. Maybe he’s just known for it by me. But it’s pretty good.
We got halibut and ahi and shrimp…and called it a party. Oh, and maybe it was also because Josh and Liisa were in town. And we had our patio finished. But I don’t really care why we have parties, just that we have them. Because I love parties.
I got plates laid out…
…and I put flowers (from the farmer’s market) in a vase on the table.
I got out the cute little condiment bowls (gracias Cenone) and made a salad (it’s pretty delish).
Oh, but wait. There is exciting news. We have a loose tooth.
And after the excitement of the loose tooth discovery and the fish was grilled….
And were merry. (oh, I’m so clever).
The view from our patio has grown on me.
And then…..we (jamie) danced.
When he wants to be, Jamie is a character. But lots of the time, he’s just his calm, serious, beautiful self.
And this little thing:
She just chilled in her bouncer…and when she fussed, all she wanted was a quick snack. And then she burped and was happy. She’s beautiful, too. They all are.
And after dinner there was a skate sesh. Actually, it was more like a quick skate clinic that Ria was holding for her uncles (they really should practice a bit).
And then the sun set and Sunday night was almost over. Which was okay, because that meant it was almost the 4th of July.
